WHAT IS HELI SKIING?
Heli skiing is an adventure sport that involves skiing or snowboarding on untouched, off-piste terrain in the mountains using a helicopter to access remote and difficult-to-reach areas. Instead of using chairlifts or other ski resort infrastructure, a helicopter drops the skiers or snowboarders at the top of a mountain or a ridge, giving them access to vast expanses of pristine powder snow and steep terrain that would otherwise be inaccessible. Heli skiing typically involves a small group of experienced skiers or snowboarders accompanied by a guide who is familiar with the area and terrain. The guide will assess the snow conditions and choose the best runs for the group, taking into account the skill level of the participants and the safety of the group. It is considered an extreme sport and requires a high level of skill and fitness. It is a thrilling and unforgettable experience that offers an unparalleled sense of freedom and adventure in the midst of breathtaking natural surroundings
