Corporate Team Building Games Companies Book in India

6 min read

Bubble soccer, human foosball, sumo suits and inflatable games are what HR teams book. Here is what each needs and how to build a team building circuit.

Corporate team building is one of the steadiest sources of weekday business for event companies, resorts and sports venues. HR teams want activities that get everyone laughing, mix departments and look good in the company photo album. This guide covers the team building games companies actually book, what each one needs and how to price them.

What corporate clients really want

After many years of trust falls and lecture style workshops, most HR teams want something simpler: a few hours of fun, physical games where nobody needs special skills. The best corporate games share four traits:

  • Anyone can play, whatever their age or fitness.
  • Teams, not individuals, so people cheer for each other.
  • Short rounds of five to ten minutes, so many teams can play in one session.
  • Big visual moments that people film and share on their company channels.

Inflatable and wearable games tick all four boxes, which is why they appear on most corporate event briefs.

The games companies book most

Bubble soccer

Players wear large clear bubbles, also called body zorbing or bumper balls, and play a short football match. Bumping and rolling is part of the game, so nobody needs football skills. A set of 10 bubbles runs a five a side match, and the same balls can be used for sumo style pushing games and relay races.

Human foosball

A human foosball court turns table football into a life size game. Players hold bars and can only move sideways, so they must work together to pass and score. It is a perfect team building metaphor, and it photographs very well.

Sumo wrestling suits

Padded sumo suits are the quickest way to get a crowd laughing. Two players try to push each other out of a ring on a soft mat. Sets come in adult and kids sizes; our kids sumo suits are popular for family days and school events.

Soapy football and inflatable battles

A soapy football pitch adds water and soap to a five a side match, which makes every tackle a slide. For indoor or dry events, a gladiator jousting podium or a caterpillar team race keeps the energy high without water.

Building a team building circuit

Single games are fun, but a circuit sells better. Divide the group into teams of eight to twelve and rotate them through four or five stations of 15 minutes each. A typical circuit for 60 to 100 people might include:

  1. Bubble soccer match
  2. Human foosball game
  3. Sumo wrestling bouts
  4. A caterpillar or relay race
  5. A quiet station, such as a puzzle or treasure hunt clue, so people can catch their breath

Award points at each station, keep a big scoreboard and finish with a final between the top two teams. This structure gives the client a clear agenda, keeps everyone moving and makes the session easy to repeat for other companies.

For event companies: owning versus renting

If you run three or more corporate events a month, owning a core kit of five or six games usually makes sense. The cost spreads quickly over bookings, and you control the quality and cleanliness of what you bring to a client. Start with bubble soccer and sumo suits, which are compact and easy to transport, then add a human foosball or soapy football court once demand is clear.

Plan for a small van, blowers with spare fuses, ground sheets, repair patches and a trained team of three to four people per event. Inflatables should be set up and anchored as described in EN 14960, which is the commonly used standard for inflatable play equipment.

For resorts and venues: a permanent games lawn

Resorts, farmhouses and sports clubs can turn an unused lawn into a bookable team building zone. Keep the games stored in a dry room, set them up for each booking and include them in your corporate offsite packages. A good games lawn often becomes the reason a company picks your venue over a similar one nearby.

Safety and hygiene basics

  • Brief every round: no head first charges, no jewellery, no glasses inside bubbles.
  • Keep a staff member at every station and limit rounds in hot weather.
  • Offer drinking water and shade between rounds.
  • Clean and dry suits and bubbles after every event, and air them before storage.
  • Check seams, straps and blowers before each booking.

How to price team building packages

Corporate clients like simple, per person pricing. Work out your cost for each event, including staff, transport, setup time, cleaning, wear and tear and a share of the equipment cost, then add your margin and set a per head rate with a minimum group size. Many event companies offer three tiers:

  • Basic: two or three games for up to two hours, suitable for a short session within a conference.
  • Standard: a full circuit of four or five games with a host, scoreboard and prizes, lasting half a day.
  • Premium: the full circuit plus an evening activity, such as a silent disco, a bonfire or a themed dinner game.

Venues can either rent games to visiting event companies or run them with their own staff. Running them yourself usually earns more per booking and gives you control of the guest experience, but it needs a small trained team. Whichever route you choose, take photos and short videos at every event, with permission. Clients love seeing their team in action, and those clips become your best marketing for the next booking.

Questions buyers ask

Which team building game is most popular with companies?

Bubble soccer is usually the first request, followed by human foosball and sumo suits, because anyone can play and they look great on camera.

Can these games be played indoors?

Yes. Bubble soccer, sumo suits and gladiator jousting work in banquet halls with enough ceiling height. Soapy football is best outdoors.

How many staff do I need per event?

Typically one person per station plus one coordinator, so three to five people for a standard circuit.

How long do inflatable games last?

With careful cleaning, drying and storage, good quality games often last several seasons of regular use. Warranty is as per the manufacturer’s terms.
