The Aqua Launcher, also called a water blob or water catapult, is one of the most watched rides at any lake or beach. A rider sits at the far end of the blob. A second person jumps onto the near end from a jetty or tower, and the push of air throws the seated rider high into the air before a big splash.

It is made from commercial grade 0.9 mm PVC tarpaulin and is anchored in deep, clear water next to a fixed jump platform. It works well as a stand-alone thrill or as the star piece of an inflatable aqua park.
