The aqua scooter is a torpedo shaped electric water scooter with a guarded propeller at the back and twin grip handles. The rider holds the handles, presses the trigger and is pulled along at the surface or under water.
It runs on a sealed removable battery that is charged on land between sessions. Dive centres and beach resorts often keep a few scooters on a rack with a rinse tank and a charging bench.
