Via Ferrata means iron path. Steel rungs, footholds, ladders and small bridges are fixed into a cliff, with a steel safety cable running alongside. Guests clip on with twin lanyards and climb with a guide.
We survey the rock, design the route, drill the anchors and fit the cable and rungs. Guests use helmets, harnesses and energy-absorbing lanyards. It is a project item with pull testing, PPE inspection and guide training.
It suits hill stations, cliffs near resorts and tourism boards that want to open a mountain to everyday visitors.
